Access to the Wellman building is from Parkman Street, which is in between
the 2 hi-rise MGH parking garages.
Either walk over the Longfellow bridge or take the Red Line T to CHARLES.
From the T stop, walk along CAMBRIDGE St (as you go downstairs on the MGH
side of the T stairway you
turn right) for one block. Turn left on N. Grove St and walk 1 block past
the taxi stands and in between the 2 garages. Admire the large main
building for MGH, called the WHITE building but do not crosss the street
to its entryway. Make a right turn onto Parkman street. In 100 ft or so
you will see a circular drive and a courtyard on your left . If you stand
at the gate and look into the courtyard, Wellman is the building at the
far right corner, up a gravel path from the circular drive.
Enter the glass doors into the Wellman lobby with the pictures of Mr. and
Mrs.
Wellman. Take the elevator to the 9th floor (since you cannot get directly
to the 11th floor in the publicly available elevators). Exit the elevator
and go left to the office suite room 901.
