By Public Transportation: Take the T to North Station. There are various exits from North Station but all will lead you down to Causeway Street. The Fleet Center (aka Boston Garden) is on Causeway Street; the entrance to the North Station T stop is at the corner of Causeway and Canal Steets. Walk to the corner of Causeway and Canal Streets. The shuttle bus stop is about 15 paces down Canal Street from Causeway Street. (D'Angelos restaurant is across Canal Street from the shuttle stop. A big shuttle bus labelled MGH or Partners will (hopefully) drive by every 15 minutes and whisk you to the Charlestown Navy Yard MGH Research Building. Get off at the research building (usually the next stop where everyone else gets off) and go inside. You enter on the east end of the building where you can see a waterfall in the first floor lobby as you enter the building. Walk to the far end of the building (the west end) and go up the west end elevators to the 7th floor. Anne's office is room 7212. The lab is across the hall, room 7103. Anyone you see on the 7th floor can give you directions. Please note that access to the building during nonbusiness hours requires an MGH ID card and access to the research labs requires an MGH ID before 9 am and after 6 pm as well. From Storrow Drive: From the end of Storrow Drive take a sharp left around the rotary onto the McGrath-O'Brian Highway. The Museum of Science will be on the left. Take a right onto Gilmore Bridge at the traffic lights at the four-way intersection. Go over the brige and take the first right onto Rutherford Avenue. Follow Rutherford Avenue until the second set of lights, then turn left at the lights onto Chelsea Street (with the Navy Yard on the right hand side) and drive through three sets of traffic lights. Take a right at the fourth set of lights onto Fifth Avenue. The Navy Yard Research Building is one block away on the right and is connected to the parking garage by overhead walkways. To park your car, turn right onto before you reach the Research Building- about half a block into the Navy Yard. Do not try to enter the first entrance/gate (monthly card entrance), but take the immediate next entrance into the garage. From the Mass. Turnpike (90) and Route 93 North: Take Route 93 North to Exit 25 to Causeway Street. At the end of the ramp, turn right. At the first light turn left onto Charlestown Bridge. From Route 93 South: Take Route 28 (Charlestown Exit). Follow the signs to Charlestown and the Constitution after you exit, heading straight South on Rutherford Avenue. Keep left as you drive past old dairys and Bunker Hill college on the right. You will drive through one more underpass, then at the second lights take a left onto Chelsea Street, with the Navy Yard on the right hand side. (If you cross a bridge over water, then you have gone too far.) Drive through three sets of traffic lights. Take a right at the fourth set of lights onto Fifth Avenue.
