Hart Laboratory Home Page

We use the nematode C. elegans as model system to study the nervous system. Ongoing research in the laboratory includes 1) analysis of mechanosensation and osmosensation in a simple circuit, 2) a C. elegans model for Huntington's and other poly-glutamine diseases and 3) the role of neuropeptides in nervous system function and development. The laboratory is located in the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. We are also part of Harvard Medical School-- affiliated with the Department of Pathology and the Department of Neurobiology.
